Mbulelo Terrence Lokoto

Mbulelo Terrence Lokoto was born 31 May 2000 in East London and raised in Cape Town where he currently lives. He is a third-year student in Fine Art, ding his diploma course at Ruth Prowse School of Art as a painter. Mbulelo have recognized the desire of art in him since childhood ages but abandoned it through lack of understanding and support. As the years passed by, Terrence have set foot back again in the art field around 2020 mid-year, where he found himself creating a lot of pencil sketches during his depression illness not knowing that he was re-polishing his creativity skills and using art as therapy.

LISO THE MUSICIAN

Liso the Musician recently hosted her sold out one woman concert at The Market Theatre, where she launched her recent album titled SIKHANYISELWE, named after her late daughter. LTM is 2025 National Arts Festival Musician Headliner at the Standard Bank Ovation Awards. In 2023 had her debut international performance in France, Toulouse and got another booking on the spot which is something significant in her music career. Liso in 2022 was the highlight of the French Institute (IFAS) Paths to Democracy Forum in UJ Theatre where she shared the stage with the iconic Sibongile Mngoma. Liso the Musician is a Best Performance in Music recipient from the 2017 Cape Town Fringe Festival, nominee for Best Afro Pop during annual Radio Zibonele Award, a South African Ancestral Jazz Innovator, composer, an actress, music writer, composer, vocalist, radio presenter and a tutor.

MANDISI DR DISI SINDO

Mandisi Sindo also known as Dr Disi is a South African shack theatres originator, social entrepreneur, mentor, dramaturgy, artivist, actor, presenter/mc/host, writer, director, voice over artist, and a site-specific work creator/curator signed under Mehlareng Actor (JHB), ERM Stars (CPT) and Tongue Twisters Voice Agency (CPT). Dr Disi is a founder and CEO of Khayelitsha Art School and Rehabilitation Centre – (KASIRC), Founder of Umjita Artvist Entrepreneurs and innovator & former Artistic Director of the Makukhanye Art Room. Mandisi Sindo’s motto is about ‘Inspiring the Uninspired, Heal the Unhealed and Informing the Uninformed”

Mandisi began pursuing his passion for theatre at age of 11 years old in primary school, and since then he has dedicated his life to the arts and to helping young people gain the skills for a tertiary level education. He views the teaching of drama as “(his)” calling and weapon to teach those who are not getting the formal classroom teaching.
